Meclopram is used to treat heartburn caused by gastroesophageal reflux and to treat gastroparesis, i.e. slow stomach emptying. Meclopram is used in diabetics and to treat gastroparesis resulting from severe diabetes.
Meclopram is used to prevent nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy or surgery, or to help with some medical procedures involving the stomach or intestines and during x-rays of the digestive system as an adjunctive treatment.
