Medicine Description
Indications: Hypotension- prophylactics of vascular collapse- dumping syndrome- vasomotor headache. Drug interactions: The action of Etilefrine is increased at its concomitant application with tricyclic antidepressants, amantadine, isoniazid and theophylline. Dihydralazine, lithium salts, beta-blockers and quinidine reduce the action of Etilefrine. Etilefrine reduces the effect of guanitidine, sulfanylureic antidiabetics and Metformin. The heart rhythm is disturbed at the concomitant application of bretylium and Etilefrine. Contraindications Hypersensitivity to the product- hypertension- thyrotoxicosis- pheochromocytoma- glaucoma- hypertrophy of prostate with urine retention- tachycardia- atherosclerosis- coronary heart diseases- hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy- valvular stenosis- first trimester of pregnancy and lactation.
