Ursogall is used to treat biliary cirrhosis associated with the gallbladder, treat diseases associated with the gallbladder, break up gallstones, prevent the formation of gallstones, and liver disease resulting from cystic fibrosis.
Ursogall consists of ursodeoxycholic acid - ursodiol, which is a natural acid found in small quantities in human bile. When this medicine is taken orally, it increases the percentage of acid to become the main component of bile, which reduces the accumulation of substances that cause obstruction of the bile ducts.
